The Manzanita  is a  tree in Oakwoodlands  that cured poison oak by the leaves of Manzanita. Manzanita has a red  stem  thats hard and has a  soft toch.

and every month  the  berries  grow bigger and bigger .  The berries are a good food ,as they can be  harvested  en masse and stored. 

Manzanita  was  used  as  madicial  for the native  Americans  in  northern califonia made  a tisane  from  manzaita.
